Spector Drakai is a necromancer on the run from people who are hunting him for practicing the art of necromancy in Alent.
Biography[]
Early Years[]
Having an interest in the offensive capablilties of magic but not exactly willing to do the work to make all the damage happen himself, Spector Drakai was delighted to learn a type of magic allowing him to accomplish many things in relative comfort: necromancy.
Until the hunt for necromancers started in 1017 AE, anyway.
After that, it became hard for Spector to make a living, especally since keeping up an animated corpse as a servant would be hard work on the run. This was a lesson Spector had to learn the hard way, however, as a group of bounty hunters intent on capturing him chased him out to the Alentian countryside in Libaterra.
Godslayer Era[]
Heart of Darkness[]
While on the run from bounty hunters who wanted to catch him for being a necromancer, Spector ran into Razravkar Dominus, a fellow necromancer whom he recognized. Although the duo managed to elude the knights who ran past them, they were soon captured by the Grey Guard on whose forest they were trespassing, and were brought to the Grey Guard camp where they were interrogated by Lady Helena the Grey.
They were also joined by Raul Emmenson and Sara Merrier who were likewise interrogated. After some tense talks, Helena let the group go. While Razravkar wandered off on his own, Raul offered to take Spector with him and Sara. Spector accepted the offer and rode with Raul for a while until Raul left him to the nearest town where Spector would rest before continuing his journey.

Appearance[]
Spector is a rather pale individual, with baby blue eyes and a mostly fair complexion. This is offset by his angular chin and nose, giving him a very sinister look when angry. He wears an old black trench coat out of nostalgia, from when he thought they were the coolest things ever, and worn black pants.
Personality and Traits[]
Smarmy and lazy, but ultimately friendly individual. He is deeply troubled by the stigma he's seen against other Necromancers, but keeps it hidden under a facade of cheerfulness.
Just because someone is ambitious, does not mean they have to be evil. But when you're ambitious and also work with death for a living, you'd be forgiven for not thinking the best of that kind of person. If that person happens to be 'defiling' the dead by making them is servants, it's probably okay to get the swords out. Spector really isn't into that.

He knows how to cast some necromantic spells such as raising the dead and is also somewhat skills with the use of knives.
