Shiropyr

Shiropyr is a shamanic spell which was written into the Book of Kagetsu by Kagetsu Aurelac de Maar Sul for the Andain to use. It's a very powerful version of the more mundane pyr spell and can't be protected against unlike its weaker Kuropyr variant. However, casting Shiropyr requires tremendous lifeforce as well s time and skill, which means it's often used only by beings of great power like Andain and the gods. It thus is fatal to any mortal who succeeds in casting it, the most notable example being Hiroshi Hayabusa who cast the spell to kill Taro Ofuchi and lost his life in the process. Unlike the weaker Kuropyr variant, Shiropyr is Light-based. The spell is activated by uttering shiropýr.
