Shiel spent the years following the Cataclysm in the Grove of Elysium along with her other sisters under the protection of befana until a group of travelers happened upon the Grove in 1017 AE. Among this group of travelers was a Half-elf named Erai Dalfar who was easily subdued by the atmosphere of the Grove which was full of beautiful things and beings. She was among the first group of Nymphs who lead him to the pools and while they were getting ready to serve his "Needs" He ended up sneezing on Shiel due to the unknown interjection of the Wind Elemental Zephyr.
