Raistlin II was an archmage who lived in his tower in Miletos in the Second Age. He became a prominent member of the Fellowship of Miletos, was responsible for the Second Banishment of Yurius and blackmailed Kagetsu Aurelac de Maar Sul to work for the Grand Alliance by saving Marya Aurelac de Maar Sul from Arawn Losstarot during the Arawn Losstarot War. He was killed in the Explosion which ended the Second Age.
Biography[]
Early Years[]
A boy was born to a poor family and was named Raistlin because he resembled the legendary King Raistlin I of Cardia who had lived a long time ago. Raistlin II had a lonely childhood, though: he was small, weak, and couldn't play with the other kids. Everyone else was much stronger than him, so he turned to magic to gain power.
He became on of the most powerful mages in the world, gained the Staff of Magius, and began dwelling in a tower protected by a magical forest in Miletos in order to avoid the ridicule of various people. His resentment over humans grew over time and he came to view them as nothing more than expendable pawns. He also secretly wished to become the most powerful mage that ever existed, and thus he spent most of his time studying more and more powerful spells and occasionally gathered powerful artifacts which he stored in his tower.

Raistlin participated in the Ofuchi Usurpation and the Manster Rebellion. He helped banish Yurius.

Raistlin tried to be evil but in the end he became a cuddly curmudgeon. However, even when he worked for the Alliance, he did desire to increase his power so that he'd be known as the most powerful mage who has ever lived.

Raistlin was quite a powerful dude. He could teleport all over hell's half acres during his quest for artifacts of power, and only the strongest foes such as Arawn, Kagetsu, Taliesin and Yurius were a match for him.
