Era: Third Age

Paul Antioch was a warrior who became a member of the Fellowship of Tes Pellaria. He was killed during the Battle of Drithenspire.

Early YearsEdit

Paul Antioch was born to a family of merchants from Remonton, his life was quite uneventful during the first few years of life. In his early teens, however, he drifted to a career in the combat arts. He became proficient in polearms for their usefulness in nearly any situation, preferring the halberd over most others. He took large offense to the Yamatian Invasion while most of his family was quite content under the new rule.

Distreyd EraEdit

Paul joined the ranks of a fellowship and travelled with them to Tes Pellaria as a bodyguard. He kept to himself all of the time and did not speak to anyone. He only wanted to get his job done, and he felt that socializing was pointless.

Paul gave his life to protect King Marcus Sarillius when the Yamatians attacked the forces of the Fellowship during the Battle of Drithenspire.

A rather plain man with a pale skin coloring, Paul stood 5'11" and weighed around 200 pounds. His hair was a shoulder length mane that tended to be tied back with a ribbon. His face wasn't particularly noteworthy with a moderate sized nose and a pair of green eyes, groomed his facial hair on a regular basis. His usual garb was that of a chain mail cuirass over a layer of padding, a pair of wool trousers and a layer cured animal hides during the winter. He developed a severe case of myopia, and wore crude spectacles most of the time.

Personality and TraitsEdit

Optimistic and forthright. He acted more on good natured humor, and a dash of confidence. His manners were quite cemented in place as one wrong word could potentially deafen those poor chaps around him.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Paul was a skilled user of halberds.

Innate Ability: Whenever he put forth an expletive a bolt of lightning hit the ground nearby, within 500 yards, causing a loud report of thunder. He had no control (i.e. aiming) of this lightning. While it was entirely possible that it could kill a person, the chance of being hit was astronamical. It was, by all rights, a normal bolt of lightning.

Marcus SarilliusEdit

Paul did not socialize with anyone but he respected Marcus as a person. He did everything he could to protect the young king and gave his life to stop a fatal blow from reaching Marcus during the Battle of Drithenspire.
