After Nina Heeate L'andariel took over the Southern Horde as a Duchess in a coup, Pride became her bodyguard and accompanied her to Oreinashi where Nina made a deal with Duke Pazuzu of the Western Horde. After the deal with the West was finalized, Pride accompanied Nina to Alent and participated in the Battle of Alent.
