Onigashima is an sovereign island state off the eastern coast of the Second Yamato Empire in the Fourth Age. After the Catastrophe, flora and fauna from the Demon Realm appeared on the island, making its central region hazardous to most people save for the enigmatic Douji Clan of hunters. The island's coastline is populated by human settlements led by the Kaen Clan which coexist with the Douji. They have jointly resisted Ebonian invasion efforts since the beginning of the Fourth Age.

Landmarks include the eponymous Mount Onigashima, which is home to the Douji Clan, and Okami-wan or Wolf's Bay.
