Sergeant Obama the Brave was the right-hand man of Captain Razoul of the Black Guard and the father of Vitani. Grand Vizier Iblis al-Djinn sent his squad after the heroes of the Grand Alliance to ensure that they killed the Sirithai and that Ronove Thanadar, whom Iblis had recognized during the Alliance's visit to the palace, would not come back alive. Obama's intrusion to the Sirithai lair Xibalba forced Awar, the mole in the party, to betray his Alliance companions sooner than planned and flee with the captured god Shakkan while leaving Obama's squad to deal with the heroes. When Obama tried to force the Alliance to kill the Sirithai and prevent them from chasing after Awar, he was shot by Rhylian Loras. He and his squad were then devoured by the angered Sirithai. Obama's death shocked his daughter Vitani who has held a grudge against Rhylian ever since.
