Nishikawa's Dojo is a martial arts school responsible for almost all of the greatest warriors of Yamato, the fistfighting monks in particular who are called the sōhei. The school is located halfway up Mount Hyama in the Falgorn Province and is named after the famous sensei Kaname Nishikawa.
Rules
- Only men can be trained as monks; women must be turned away at all times and be purged from the sensations of both mind and body.
- All students must be shaven bald to signify their obedience to their betters and to prove their dedication to the Ways of the Monk. Only teachers are allowed to have long hair.
- There are only two true paths a monk can pursue: the Way of the Closed Fist, and the Way of the Open Palm. All other paths are merely reflections of the two greater paths.
