Sultana Meher al-Saif (lit. Meher [Benevolent] of the Sword Tribe) was the head of the ruling House of Saif in Vanna and the mother of Adela and Razia. She was killed in a duel by the time her daughters turned 18, but she was avenged by Razia only a few days later. Razia won the duel and reclaimed the throne that had once belonged to Meher and thus carried on her legacy as the new Sultana.
