Masamori Hyuga was a member of the Hyuga Clan who rose into the rank of Shogun. He staged a coup and deposed Emperor Takeshi Ofuchi of Yamato, becoming the de facto head of state in the process. He also formed an alliance with Distreyd Thanadar XII, and eventually his and Distreyd's combined forces attacked and conquered other countries in what would be known as the Yamatian Invasion. The Shogun fell ill during the invasion phase, and his power eventually fell into the hands of Distreyd XII. He did not actively participate in the Great War against the Grand Alliance's forces. It is unknown whether he survived the aftermath of the Cataclysm.
