Malalai is a half-elven red mage who is wandering the land to help others out of their suffering.

Biography

Early Years

Raised solely by her human guardsman father Damien Skyward in a small community wary of her half-elven heritage, Leta Skyward was trained very early on as a fighter. When her father died younger than expected from illness she was quickly taken in by her mage mother Tuuletar along with a select number of her half-siblings.

After a few decades of tutelage, Leta found out her father had been one of many victims to die under a curse once they had fulfilled Tuuletar's purpose to secretly help breed new warriors in order to "bring about a new age for elves once again." Leta's subsequent lethal rampage caught everyone off guard but not before Tuuletar could curse Leta with blindness with her last breath. Now Leta, who has taken the name Malalai, wanders the earth assisting others out of their suffering, hoping to escape her own one day.

Fourth Age

While visiting the city of Valencia in 20 AC, Malalai witnessed the strange moonbeam storm hitting the city.

Appearance

Malalai wears a grey hooded cloak, worn leather armor and boots, and a dark red tunic paired with dark brown pants. Her belt holds a coin purse, two knives, two metal-lined rods and a sling with lead pellets, many other small knives and wands hidden upon her person. She wields a rather long ordinary staff shod which is bound with metal caps and rings etched with nigh-invisible runes; other weapons have similar runes.

She has messy light brown tresses with slightly pointed ears, tanned well-toned body and once golden eyes now clouded milky white.

Personality and Traits

Kind, compassionate, wise, clever, mischievous at times, very uncomfortable with her hybrid status.

As a red mage she is proficient in wind magic. She wields staff, sling, fighting rods, and knives.
