|Age:||360 (at time of death)|
Maiyr Korath, also known as the Beastmaster, was a member of the Clergy of Mardük and one of the infamous Korath brothers. He and his mutated creatures tried to overrun Folsworth Woods during the Beastmaster Incident, but he was eventually slain by Krisler Garside and the Fellowship of Tes Pellaria who put an end to his reign of terror. The revelation of the Beastmaster's true identity as Maiyr Korath made the Fellowship realize that he had been only a minion of the true mastermind of the plot: Firion Korath, King Amandil's ostensibly loyal advisor.

- "This cannot be. The great Master Maiyr failed the Clergy. I shall continue to fight with the last of my powers!"
- "Your terror on Folsworth is over, you vile beast! May your soul rot in the underworld!"
- —Maiyr and Krisler Garside
The Beastmaster proved his might by single-handedly fighting against the majority of the fellowship. It took considerable effort to weaken him, after which he shapeshifted into his werewolf form. He crushed many elves with his paws, but eventually the fellowship weakened him enough so that the elven lord Krisler could deal the finishing blow.
However, the heroes soon found out that the pendant which the Beastmaster had carried had evidence that he was in fact Maiyr Korath and thus the long-lost brother of Firion Korath. The heroes realized that Firion and Maiyr had plotted things together and that Firion had used Maiyr to lure the heroes out of Sanae so that Firion could assassinate the elven king Amandil. It seemed that Maiyr had had the last laugh after all, but the heroes did reach Sanae just in time to put an end to Firion's scheme.
Aliases and NicknamesEdit
- Maiyr used this alias when he commanded the beast hordes of Folsworth Woods in order to conceal his true identity as one of the powerful elven lords of Folsworth Woods.
Maiyr was a tall, muscular and feral-looking elf who often wore the dark robe of the Clergy of Mardük. He could shapeshift into a werewolf and looked fearsome in that form as well.
Personality and TraitsEdit
Maiyr showed no remorse sacrificing and killing his minions to get what he wanted. He did not listen to reason and crushed anyone who dared stand in his way. His insanity grew after his mutation, and he became a bloodthirsty beast who resembled a graceful elf less and less as the years went by.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Maiyr became a fierce warrior after his mutation, and he could shapeshift into a werewolf whenever he got angry.
Innate Ability: Maiyr innately knew everything that was happening in the confines of Folsworth Woods. This passive ability could not be switched off at will, but Maiyr's growing insanity prevented him from taking full advantage of his ability, so he often relied on Firion's strategies to put his ability to good use.
