Helane is the elven grandmother of Shyralis and also a former councillor in Sanae. She is the only person aside from Izael Korath that Shyralis has truly cared about. She was accused of high treason in 1017 AE when the elves found out that she had helped Shyralis save Izael from the execution grounds. She's currently in a cell in Sanae waiting for the final judgement.
