The Eastern Horde was one of the four demon hordes in the Grand Duchy of Yamato in late Third Age. The leader of the horde was Duchess Vaetris L'andariel, Lady of the Duchy of Eastern Yamato. The female-ruled Eastern Horde focused more on indulging the desires of the flesh than fighting. They were known to be sensual and intoxicatingly beautiful, leading men from all races (even other demon hordes) to offer themselves willingly as slaves. Their army was predominantly female, boasting warriors who specialized in blazingly quick and agile combat. The more blood they spilled, the greater their fervor for battle. The horde ruled from its stronghold in Shippuu in the Jihao Province. After signing the Treaty of Andaria at the beginning of the Fourth Age, the Eastern Horde was turned into the Emerald Legion of the Andarian Empire.

Armor and Emblems[]

The soldiers of the Eastern Horde wore armor of deep green.

The overall flag of the Eastern Horde had a green snake on a backdrop of crimson.

Special abilities[]

They used their intoxicating beauty as a means to lure men from all races (even other demon hordes) to offer themselves willingly as slaves. The more blood the female warriors spilled, the greater their fervor for battle.
