Daeron Earthhaven, né Sindaros, was an excommunicated elven Prince from the Aisonian House of Sindaros and the older brother of Beruthiel Sindaros. He lost his claim to the throne of Mori'Taure after he abandoned his homeland to be with Nimwyn Earthhaven, a common elf from Remon's Folsworth Woods with whom he had a daughter, Varalia Earthhaven. Daeron and Nimwyn seemingly met their end when the village their family was living in was raided by Adolf von Waldheim and Calista Cypher's party during Daeron's 300th birthday, which led to young Varalia being taken captive and sold to slavery.
However, Daeron survived the raid and was eventually enslaved by the Clergy of Mardük. He was used as a sacrifice in Witch-king Zarnagon's Rite of the Revenant in Castle Myridium to bring Gwaen back as a lich occupying the prince's body so Gwaen could act as one of Xerathas d'Zarnagon's caretakers. Despite Gwaen's soul seemingly banishing Daeron as he took over the body, remnants of Daeron's memories and personality occasionally surface much to Gwaen's confusion.
