"And now at the very end you finally understand that the winds of wrath are coming...and with them, everything that once was will be swept away."

Bismarck, the Lord of Water, is a water elemental. He was trapped in a magic gem until he was released by the Red Sun and the Crimson Coalition during the Battle of the Rivers in Libaterra where he laid waste to the armies of the Magicracy of Alent and the Union Workers. However, he then turned against the Coalition as well, drowing as many of them as he could, and it turned out he had done so on the behest of the Red Sun to weaken both armies. He was ultimately driven back to the High Plane when he was damaged enough in a magical blast triggered by Garus Kax. He managed to utter cryptic, ominous words of what future might have in store for the world before vanishing.

Early YearsEdit

Godslayer EraEdit

A Cry in the DarkEdit

The Clergy of Nergal released a water elemental near the Grand Confluence, the Great River crossing which separates Northern Libaterra from the Heartlands, during the Battle of the Rivers. The elemental helped the clergy and the Crimson Coalition to strike a decisive victory against the Magicracy of Alent's Western Army and gave the Coalition a foothold at the crossing.

Heart of DarknessEdit

"The message has been delivered, and my watch is ended. Dawn will come indeed...not the kind of dawn you're hoping for but the one you'll need."
—Bismarck to Garus Kax

Leopold Lain summoned Bismarck one more time, believing the elemental had been recovering his strength. He unleashed the elemental on Alentian and Union forces but was caught off-guard when the elemental also began drowning Coalition's soldiers. It became apparent that the elemental had never actually been on the Coalition's side and was in fact working for a third faction. Yoshimuriko and Leopold surmised that the witches of the Red Coven may have been responsible because the witches had given them the gem with the elemental in the first place.

Bismarck continued his rampage until he was stopped by Garus Kax, an Alentian officer who sacrificed himself by blowing up explosives to evaporate the elemental. The elemental uttered ominous words as the blast hit him and then returned to the High Plane to rejoin his kind.
