Babushka Pronin was the mother of Andrei Pronin as well as a distant relative of the House of Aurelac. Thanks to her Aurelac blood, she could shapeshift into a wolf, an ability which her son inherited. She warned Andrei not to try shapeshifting lightly because every transformation would increase the risk of Andrei not being able to turn back into a man anymore.
